The awning itself is beautiful and easy to use. We just were very disappointed it did not provide protection from the late day sun!

Note from Advanced Sash & Door owner, Mike Sheely:  In this case, the covered area was completely exposed to sun from 3:30 in the afternoon until sunset.  A Sunsetter Weatherbreaker side panel was installed to manage the situation.  We appreciate it when our customers are open about their disappointments because it gives us an opportunity to find a resolution.

My wife and I evaluated Marvin, Pella and Andersen windows. Advanced Sash & Door and the Infinity from Marvin windows is by far the best window out there. The entire job went perfectly! (The salesman) gets kudos as well!

Note from Advanced Sash & Door owner, Mike Sheely:  Thank you for your comments!  Sometimes little things can happen during manufacturing that can’t be detected until all the components are installed.  In this case, the grilles-between-the-glass did not appear to perfectly line up between the transom and patio doors.  Our salesman caught it right away the day it was installed and notified the manufacturer before the homeowners were aware of the problem.

Yes, would use Advanced Sash & Door for similar projects in the future, as long as product is satisfactory – our first time with ASD. Work crew was attentive and thorough.

I think a complete clean of the windows after installation would be appropriate. Several windows had smears, apparently from the installation process. A final clean would be a nice “touch” to the job.
